मीठ-मीठ दर्द हमर तीत—तीत मोन,
दिन-देखार हेरा गेल हमर हियक सोन
बिजुरी तँ चमकैए कतहु नै घटा,
खाली अछि, खुक्खे अछि हमर हृदय-कोन
बेढ़ल फुलवारी अछि फूलक नै पता,
गाछ नै बिर्छ नै उपटल सन बोन
साङह अछि पानि अछि कतहु ने लता,
दुनियामे छथि नै ओ मानय ने मोन
देखलहुँएँ, देखै छी हुनकर ओ छटा,
आँखिमे नुकायल सन हमर मीठ सोन
