जल लेवा के कारणे, नमत कूप कूँ चाँच॥
अति न करौ कहि कवि उदै, अति कर रावन कंस।
आप गयौ जानत सकल, गयौ संपूरन बंस॥
आछा खावै सुख सुवै, आछा पहिरे सोइ।
अति आछो रहणी रहै, मरै न बूढ़ा होइ॥
उदै सीख कहि क्यों दिए, सीख दिया दुख होइ।
अपनी करनी चालणी, बुरी न देखै कोइ॥
सज्जन मिलण समान कछु, उदै न दूजी बात।
सेत पीत चूनौ हरद, मिलत लाल ह्वै जात॥
